Biography

Shephali Patel, MD is the co-founder and partner of Carolina Medical Partners. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ – affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson University (UMDNJ).

Dr. Shephali Patel earned her medical degree from Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai, India. She completed her residency there in ENT at Sion Hospital and was a practicing ENT surgeon prior to moving to the U.S. in 1998. Once in America, she became a faculty member for the JFK Family Medicine Program and JFK Occupational Health Center in New Jersey and moved to Charlotte, NC in 2009. She’s been practicing medicine in the United States for over 15 years and is committed to treating every patient like she would her own family – with compassion and respect. She is also certified in Medical Esthetics.

Dr. Shephali Patel specializes in Primary Care, Geriatric Care, Women’s Health, Hospice Care and Medical Esthetics. Dr. Patel is currently the director of Interim Hospice and is affiliated with multiple Assisted Living, Nursing Homes and a sub-acute rehab facility in the Charlotte, Tega Cay and Rock Hill areas. She also enjoys teaching and is a clinical faculty member at VCOM, an osteopathic medical school that precepts PA, NP and DO students from various graduate schools.
